BEWARE. This app started off great. So great that I paid for a Pro subscription. Now the app records but DOES NOT SAVE THE RECORDING. I don't know what happened with the last update, but ever since then I've lost recordings. I wish I could get a refund.
Great stereo sound, good pauses without interrupts. But there are a couple of problems. When you select audio format as mp3, it still record in mp4 AAC format (even in the end of file name it is supposedly mp3). When you send it to iPhone (using Slack in my example) it's unable to listen (looks like unknown file format). When you try to open recorded file in Audacity, it looks like not a audio file. So unable to work with it. And so on... Well. I had to uninstall it. There is no solution.
Very frustrating app. Will play an ad every chance it gets, then multiple messages to upgrade. The app is mostly useless if you dont pay for it and even then it doesnt offer anything you couldn't just do with another app that plays fewer ads on their free version. If you are going to play that many ads you shouldn't restrict the functionality of the app.
HORRIBLE! You can't do one.single.thing without watching an ad that you aren't allowed to close for a set amount of time. It causes you to miss recording something and is just generally infuriating. Also, once I installed this app on my new phone and had made several recordings, I then realized it's the same app I had on a previous phone that literally made my audio files permanently inaccessible because I clicked "1 star" on their incessant in-app attempts to make me rate them 5 stars.
CONSTANT ads. Like, you can't even listen to two recordings before an ad plays. They're skippable after a few seconds but it's incredibly obnoxious and completely turns me off the app. Accidentally clicked the back button after listening to a recording? Ad. Want to replay a recording? Ad. Switching between the recording function and the actual recordings? AD. I understand people need to make money, but this is just Not it.
I wanted an app that can cut and edit recordings and this one is just perfect. I have tried to take down some music and it sounds great. The layout is quite clear and very easy to use.
Great so far. First Attemped recording. Hope it plays back! UPDATE: Had to at least see if there was sound for you guys and in all honesty sounds just like the original recording. Def never heard an app recorder so well. But that was only a second or two. Maybe I'll update later, maybe I won't. You'll know when I do!
Love this app!! Using it on my Galaxy Tab 8 to record original songs/tunes that suddenly pop into my head, voice memos, convos, audio from other sources, ambient sounds. Said it isn't optimized for my device, but is working perfectly. About to buy the pro version to get rid of ads. Thanks for a great, reliable app!!
It's great!!! The only reason I got it was so I could record in the background and listen to my recording's in the background. This app does both!!! I recommend it!! It is really easy to use as well. Plus it takes up like barely any space to download. The recording's take up some space, but that was expected. I hope if you chose to get this app you will like it.
Very cool rrecording app! Maybe for people who don'tknow much about recording: instead of calling the menu selection change the menu: 'Encoder Bitrate', maybe let the user select from a list that describes what type of recording it is they want to make, such as voice memo, music audio recording, etc., and then you could have encoder bitrate 'presets' based on those types of recording settings because I had to take myself on a "bitrate mini-research' tangent to figure that setting out.
