"The Ants: Underground Kingdom" is a strategy simulation game developed by Star Union. It debuted in 2021 and quickly achieved significant success in the global market, especially in overseas games. This game uses a unique ant perspective to bring players into a microscopic world to experience the construction and war of the ant kingdom.
Ant Empire Construction: Players play the role of queen ants, responsible for building and managing their own underground ant nests, and ensuring the effective production and storage of resources through reasonable planning of tunnels and room layouts.
Division of work types: The game simulates the real ant ecology. Players need to assign tasks according to different types of ants (such as worker ants, soldier ants, specialized ants, etc.), from collecting food to defending against foreign enemies. Each type of work has its specific function.
Resource management: Players need to manage resources such as honeydew, meat, and grass. These resources are obtained through the labor of ants, such as raising aphids in captivity to obtain honeydew, which embodies the simulation of real ecology.
Strategic battle: Players can cultivate an army of ants, fight with other players' ant colonies, compete for resources and territory, and even participate in the battle for the "ant king".
Alliance cooperation: The game encourages players to join or create an alliance to cooperate with other players to face challenges together and enhance collective strength.
Theme innovation: "The Ants: Underground Kingdom" is unique among SLG games. It chose ants as a novel and educational theme, attracting a large number of players who are interested in nature and insects.
Detailed restoration: The game strives to be realistic in details. From the habits of ants to the structure of the ant nest, everything is as close to reality as possible, increasing the immersion and science value of the game.
Strategy depth: Although the basic gameplay draws on the COK-Like model, it provides a wealth of strategy options and long-term game depth through the complexity of ant society.
Global competition: As an overseas game, it has a wide player base around the world and supports multiple languages, allowing players to compete and communicate with players around the world.
The game received a high rating of 8.9 on TapTap, proving its popularity among players.
It also won the Google Play "Most Innovative Game" award, showing its uniqueness and innovation in game design.
The commercial success of "The Ants: Underground Kingdom", especially its performance on the overseas revenue list in August 2021, proves that the combination of theme innovation and strategic depth is the key to its success.
Great in game art, great animations, great technical knowledge on ants... Amazing technical knowledge. Sucks that it is just similar to these other march and attack games available here on Google Play. I so wish that that aspect of the game was a little different, maybe one-v-one animated battles. Otherwise, the part where one gets to develop a technically accurate colony is just "it". And again, lots of data to download for battles that I do not get to experience.
Game is cute. Graphics are great. Compared to most other games it doesn't download constantly and eat your data to much. It's nerdy hope you know you'r ants or you might be kinda confused like me but it's fairly easy to learn the basics of what you need to know and do. The only thing I don't like is it looks like some things you might need later on are pay to play...you have to buy a light contract?. I do not have the money so could be a problem in higher lvls
It's a nice enough little ant themed city builder. It throws a lot of premium things like resource packs and timer boosts for free but the trade off is that it has things for sale in every aspect and menu of the game. Literally every menu has something for 5 or 10 dollars to buy and it's a bit intrusive. Apart from that, it's a nice do a couple things and wait a bit and come back between doing other things
This is a lot of fun, the guide to level 8 is really easy to follow, lots of rewards, no real need to pay a lot of money in the beginning. I did not think I'd become so invested nor entertained by a game about an ant colony, but I am. It can be time consuming if you don't have speed ups, but do the events/tasks and you'll get plenty plus a good alliance will be a big help!
This is very fun to play and I like both the concept and theme. I can easily level up with the help of the members from ny alliance. The only thing that I can suggest is in Troops Camp, give a much larger number which a player can mutate his troops or make this building an upgradable building. All over, it's a great app for all ages.
At first it might seem overwhelming with the UI and graphic. But I got used to it after a while and it's actually a very comprehensive gameplay experience. Will be giving more detailed feedback as I progress in the game. Update: The community is a friendly bunch (there might be a few nasty ones along the way). Game support is usually helpful. Gameplay can be repetitive but encourages cooperative play so that's something to look forward to logging in daily.
I'm amazed by how much this game has to offer. So much to learn and also great help with catching on to how it all works.. They offer a lot of challenges and lots of rewards to keep things interesting. I thought it might be a simple and boring way to pass a little time but this game blows my mind. Well beyond any previous expectations. This is my favorite kingdom builder game I've ever experienced. I have only one twinge... It crashes frequently. I haven't experienced any loss of saved data.
