The game play is great. Don't like the new updates though. It now takes forever to collect the coins and gems from the artifects that you collect. You have to wait for the bag to come up and show the coins/gems going up for each artifect, even if you have multiple of a single one. The game also used to tell you which ones you had the collected artifects in, now it just says total amount in each area and you have to click into each one to find the artifects you have collected.
I love this game, but I really think we need more maps! The game gets repetitive due to the lack of new environments (I really think a cherry blossom map would be cool to see). Additionally, it would be great to see special event maps (eg. Haunted Harvest, Earth Day, Spooky Ridge) available year-round as a reward for completing challenges. I want to collect every map, but it's hard when a lot are extremely limited or locked behind a paywall! Basically, make all maps permenantly accessible!
Love the game and play it since a long time, however a major glitch for some objectives that doesn't allow you to complete them is super annoying. The most popular example is "archaeology 101" I think, because I saw other people complaining about it too. Lots of chests collected, but the objective is never achieved, and the only solution seems to be reinstalling the whole game and loosing the progress.
I really REALLY love this game. It's addicting, challenging, but doable. However, I am updating my review today because it's frustrating when they give you a daily goal of riding the mine cart and then fix the game so you can't possibly get to the mine no matter which way you go. Sorry, TEMPLE RUN 2, that takes you from a fantastic 5 star to an average 3 star.
I like this game. It's addicting and entertaining. The global challenges are hard but fun to try. BUT the Ads are execxisve and they dont even have a sound off option. I play while listening to audiobooks. The ads don't pause the audio automatically the way a notification would, and when the ad is on the screen, there's no "off" to turn off the sound. It's so loud too.
