it's a good app for practicing piano however is flawed with the fact you have to buy to play "freely" so not really that helpful, I'm trying to learn piano and I was following a guide and it showed this app so I decided that I'd get it for myself thinking I could solve my problems, yet when loading the app after 50 seconds of free play that is all you get and you have to buy it. Also baring in mind it does say free play, kind of contradicting in itself.

I like the app but theres something i don't like every 50 seconds it says "unlock synthesia" and if you want to go away you buy it for $7.99! And all it is is just to get rid of that! I would rather have ADS and i HATE ads but i hate that more. I wanna have a free play but i can only do that every 50 seconds. But thats the only thing i dont like. So 3 stars (it should be 4) but 3. Still wondering why the $7.99 thing is even a thing.

All my info got wiped. I opened the app today to find the theme back to default. I simply switched it back to the one I use and continued on, but then found out all my progress on every song was gone including the adjustments I had made. It also no longer recognized that I had paid to unlock it. Re-entering my key, while it did unlock again, did not restore my progress nor did restarting my phone. No more motivation to practice today after having that happen... :( Edit: Also not a profile issue

I bought it using a Gmail account that was subsequently pwned and have now deleted that account. I have emailed vendors to ask if I can transfer purchase to new Gmail account. The cost to buy again with the new Gmail account is only about £7 but, as the authors have so far ignored my correspondence, it'll be cold day in .... before I send them more money.. Authors PLEASE RESPOND!

underrated app, it very affordable and very generous! don't go anywhere else to learn to play songs, find the midi file for a song and load it to this great app, that's it! it's ready for the tutorial. supports any keyboard attached properly with your tablet or phone. Thanks for this great app.

I love Synthesia, bought the pc version years ago - however my unlock code is not working for the android version. Whatever is typed into the field, the screen rotates out of landscape for the keyboard and when it is submitted it reverts back to landscape and appears to not process the code. It works fine on my chromebook. 🤷‍♂️ UPDATE - I FIXED IT, but I had to plug in a USB (typing) keyboard and use that to type the code. Definitely a bug though. I love this app. I've tried to learn sheet music many times but end up getting bored or frustrated, and I do not practise enough. At first, I didn't want to "cheat" by using the falling notes, but now I don't care because they allow me to play songs I want to play and enjoy them! Maybe someday I'll learn to read sheet music, but after all, it was originally the only possible way of reading music, and now, in the age of computers, falling notes is just a new way of reading music!
