This app is so much rubbish. You have to pay to be shown the steps for every equations. This is suppose to help people not to pay for everything. At least have the steps to be shown for the problem free. PLEASE!!!!!!

Symbolab is pretty good. It can be the total bomb aometimes, but can fall flat at others with a lack of explenation--ehich is what I use for. I find the website works much better and that the app is a bit confusing. It's good though that an app has been made and gets updates, so hopefully it will be just as good or even better than website in the future.

I have only tried it today but I can see how different it is from other app that I'm using, it will explain everything. The only disadvantage is that you have to pay, it's not an absurd amount, and you do get your money worth of help from the app. I'd just like it to add some steps along with the answer for the free users, so that they can appreaciate how good it can be when it's fully unlocked.

"Kind of" does what you want, but SHOVES TONS OF ADS in front of you while your trying to study or do math problems... So you can't get into a math rythm... ADS between every problem.... Not at all helpful.... Just a money grab to get adds in front of you to pay them, and customers to pay them directly at the same time..... Great Concept..... VERY POOR EXECUTION.....

This app sucks. It might work a few times before it gets stuck on a load screen and doesn't work again till who knows when. I've had this problem for years on this app on different devices and not once did they ever address the issue

If I could give the app a zero rating I would. They force you to pay a premium to get basic features that are already available on the browser version, and make sure that the browser version is unusable on any mobile platform. the app is a buggy, incomplete mess, and not worth your time using.

the ui is kinda difficult compared to the site, and the examples are crammed due to the font. Honestly, I got this for linear equations and MathPapa has a free online calculator that shows all steps for free. I just got the app because symbolab has been my go-to last year (esp with finishing highschool) but the quality took a major nosedive :(

It sucks that all of the explanations are locked by pay walls, but i get it. Each person needs a way to gain a living, however it would be much better if there was a way to get the step explanations without the pay walls. An example of which can be watching advertisements to unlock a step. Just so you can get the steps, gain something in return, and be less complicated and more fit for different users.

To clarify, this app doesn't have useful notifications, because it doesn't need notifications at all. This is the best app I have ever used. You can practice any math topic you want for as long as you want for $50 a year, which is a complete steal. Furthermore, the app lets you take pictures of worksheet or written questions and then gives you an answer with all working. If you are in practice mode it also let's you take pictures of written answers. The only thing I don't like is the keyboard.
