Nice app, but, being old school, how bout add a spectrum analyzer visualization that is actually synced to the actual music? There are spectrum analyzers in the Play Store, but they are NOT in sync with the music. What's the point of a spectrum analyzer visualization that's out of sync with the music? If u can add one that's synced to the music, it would be great. Also, some add-on features that can be added optionally, rather than permanent add-ons that may not be perfect for everyone.
This app has slowly gotten worse as time goes on. First off, it doesn't ignore "The" at the beginning of band names, so they all go under 'T'. Originally, when songs would play it would re-theme the app and edge lighting to match the album art. That got removed in an update. That's all well and good, but this most recent update added advertising. Not just the occasional ad stuck at the top of the tracklist, but also fullscreen popup ads that can only be turned off for 7 days!
I've used this since 4.4.2 on my S3 Mini, and I didn't think I'd ever switch, but now I have. First the plain-er UI, then the Spotify tab, now the pop-up ads. My new app also has ads, but at least they're from an independent developer trying to make some money, and not the already-multi-million-dollar maker of the device that it's on! (At first, I thought it was dumb that this app had to be downloaded after having been built in on older devices, but that also means that it can be uninstalled!)
Ever since the most recent software update, random tracks will not play properly. I press play, and the track either does not play at all (stays at 0:00) or will "play" the track with no audio. This happens at random with random tracks. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, which fixed nothing and cost me all of my playlists-some of which I've been curating for years. If I had any other choice of on-device music player I would use it. Please fix this.
It's pretty decent, would be great if you add earphone control. On my s8+ I can only skip songs by pressing the pause button twice.... Vol down should be used for skipping backwards Vol up for skipping forward and the pause/play button used as is
Does exactly what I want! Samsung if you read this please don't make large changes to this app. It functions well and is a fantastic replacement for the Google play music app I used to use. I tried a 3rd party app and was able to make due but the playlist feature on it was terrible and wouldn't let me select a song from the playlist if it had already played.
