Great app with a ton of content. Way too many ads not appropriate for children and placed where children will no doubt click on them. Before your cut and paste " ads allow us to bring you free content" response I will say that while that may be true, the ads could be more age appropriate. I know I can remove them from the menu by paying and I will because my child loves the app. Could've been better from the start though.
Inappropriate ads for toddlers blocking the whole screen, making them click said ads. I understand you need ad revenue to keep it free, but they need to be appropriate for toddlers. I'd happily pay for an app, but not if they have such problematic ads in the first place. Other free apps do it much better without full screen predatory ads.
My only complaint is the "loading"sign will come on the screen and not go away unless I exit the app completely and reopen it. Not sure if it's something caused by the app being pinned on my phone so my toddler can't exit it or not. As for everything else, it's great. I paid for the ad removal and that made it even better.
I completely understand the need for ads, they make access to free apps like this possible. However having them pop up every 3 minutes, sometimes more frequent sort of defeats the purpose. Not having any sort of system in place to prevent your child from clicking the ad, as ads are for adults not two year olds, on top of having them take up the whole screen just seems deceptive.
