Space Falcons is a very fun shooter that's clearly influenced by games like Jamestown: Legend of the Lost Colony and Sine Mora.
Space Falcon takes the basic gameplay of a shooter and combines it with great graphics using the best of pixel art.As in most games of this genre, the story in Space Falcon is completely relegated to the background, serving as an excuse to keep shooting and contextualize the 50-plus levels.
In this game, you are the leader of the Space Falcons, and Earth's only hope is to stop the violent invasion of space insects.Your ship is your only helper as you venture into the depths of space to collect power-ups that increase your speed and firepower, as well as coins that can be invested to purchase new ships or optimize the ones you already have.If your ship is destroyed in combat, all your optimizations up to that point are gone, making the remaining levels much more difficult.
Space Falcons is a fun and smooth game that's perfect for the most demanding gamers, while also providing a good challenge for regular players of the genre.
Fun at first, but at a certain point you need the green gems to level your aircraft to a point where it is possible to complete levels. But the gems are hard to come by in sufficient numbers by just playing the game, so the game becomes a pay to play game. For the first few weeks of play it was really fun, like 5 stars, but after you hit that wall, the game is pretty weak, like 1 star. Also, there are absolutely no instructions. Like there is nothing explaing the leveling and evolving process.
it's could have been a great shooting game. but why does this lag so much during normal game? it doesn't use Internet during normal game, right? but it lags a lot. furthermore, it gets suddenly real hard when you reach level 22 normal mode. plus the progression will be so slow since you only very few powerups during the gameplay, unlike while in lower levels. also, you get total coins of less than 100 or 150 despite flawlessly finishing the stage. low total coins when doing Hard mode also.
I do like the game. No problem with watching ads for gold, I get it, ads are revenue. I just don't like that after the first initial levels you have to either pay to level up or spend a thousand years grinding to get enough coins. The packages are a bit expensive as well. I'd buy a complete version without the "buy these packages of coins to level up" options.
