The only downside is the occasional privacy concerns and overwhelming amount of ads.
Everything is changing and not for the better. Since the "Reels" came along,I've had nothing but a bad experience. I mainly use fb for videos and I usually can go back in my history if I had to leave for a sec and finish off. Now the video option is completely gone, you could get to it through the menu but now its gone. Half the reels won't load, and when an ad pops on you better pray the video doesn't mess up. If the video messes up you might see it again......someday.....maybe........HORRIBLEE
All of a sudden, I'm unable to post..the app crashes as soon as I press post. I've done everything I know to do to try to resolve the problem, to no avail. Besides that, I see more random garbage pages and ads in my feed than my friend's posts. There's no option to delete these pages, only snooze for 30 days. C'mon Facebook, please fix these issues!
Hard to see any really content for all the ads and random attention grabbing videos. Bad as a neighborhood market place, or event organization platform, because they ship their org structure and nothing integrates well with related features. Tries to be smart and fails consistently, so it's not even cute anymore, just majorly annoying. If you want to avoid sharing fake news, you have to save posts before clicking links to read more than the headline, because the timeline reloads on return...
Great app, but the thumbnail option is missing! “I have been using Facebook. The app has been around for years and overall, it's a great way to stay connected with friends. and family. The app is user friendly, and I like the features like groups, Marketplace, and Rails. However, I was trying to review the app. play store and noticed that there is no thumbnail option available. As a user, I Seems like having a visual representation of the app would be really helpful. Screenshot
Galaxy Fold 4 here and the app is awful now on the front screen with the navigation bar on the left side of the screen taking up almost half of it. Hard to see anything and it usually glitches again and you can't even select any of the options. Been this way for almost a month now and not a fix in sight. Uninstalling and installing it again gives you maybe a few minutes or an hour until it goes right back.
The amount of suggested, sponsored, and ad content is truly ridiculous. Especially the suggested content. I didn't need a feed if random info!! Facebook was made to see what FRIENDS are posting. I see more suggested content than friend content. One after another, after another, with an ad thrown in for good measure. I understand ads - it's a free app, of course - but the rest of it? It's really crazy. And useless. Please, adjust!
Please bring back the option to open all links in our preferred browser, not just links sent in messages. The built in browser loads much slower. This isn't very productive to open in the built in browser then have to choose to open in external browser, especially if it's something that we would like to save. Also, give an option to turn off AI, this isn't necessary for every single post, then within comments.
