I've always loved Diner Dash, I was so excited when this came out. I love the game, but its flaws really make me not want to play. It is way too difficult to advance and everything requires gems and keys that are hardly accessible. If the creators ease up the cost of things it'd be better. I keep trying to like it but delete it after a short period because it's just too frustrating.
I don't know why it even gives you the option to watch videos to "earn coins and jewels", you sit through the whole video and it never gives you the reward! If it happened once or twice, ok maybe it's a bug. HOWEVER, it happens every single time which really deters you from wanting to play. Seems like they only want you to purchase the rewards instead of being able to earn them.
Used to be my fav - been playing for 3ish years I think. One of the few games you could just play and listen to music/books with no issues, optional ads! Then, the last update. Now it's forced ads every few minutes, and they turn off whatever you are listening to so they can play the ad sounds, AND you can't play on airplane mode to avoid them.
This game was great! But, after the latest update? It freezes and I keep losing gems, groceries and coins. I'm fairly sure it has nothing to do with my speed and storage, as the other reviews show everyone is experiencing the same issues. Also, where's the free play? 15 minute doubledash gem drop and free groceries disappear because I have to reboot my phone to play for a single game, and I still lose whatever I win. It isn't worth the frustration!
I used to love this game. It was the perfect combination of levels plus storyline plus decorating. But this year they've eliminated all the fun extra elements, and it just falls flat. There is no storyline development anymore, which was a favorite for me. Random new restaurants will pop up with no explanation, and that's it except for the repetitive level play. I used to play very regularly and make periodic in game purchases, but now it just feels like they are trying to force more purchases.
This version of Diner Dash is cluttered, and the app moves a bit slowly. Taps outside of gameplay take a few seconds to do anything. Too many things going on at once so it's hard to focus on the main story and levels. Don't really like how everything, including the customers, require upgrades. It feels like a manufactured way to either slow your progress or force you into buying diamonds. Gameplay is generally fine, but I just feel like this version lacks the spark of the original.
Just started this game but already ours great! you can play it fine without mandatory purchases and it's cute and super nostalgic with the old Diner Dash! the game gives you a lot of gifts up front to get you started! once you are out of gifts though i can tell that progressing without purchases will be very slow, but hey, the gotta make money some how!
I love playing! It's relaxing to decorate, the designs are beautiful and filled with colors! A fun way to kill time, fair play, allows you to win prizes, bonuses, and more! Thank you for making this game! I have always loved to play Diner Dash since I was younger and this new version is excellent! I do like the resturant version better then the hotel, but still fun!
