I have been using this app for a month now. Have to say that I love the concept. You get to ride with good people in excellent cars. Very comfortable journeys. 2 things to note - 1) Always see the details of the car and person when you book. Always confirm the booking with the owner. 2) Never pay the amount in advance. Thankfully the app highlights this point in red whenever you book. That helps!
There is a dire need to have a governance structure in this app, the drivers are operated by agencies and people are made fool. Drivers are rude and there is no mechanism to address this through the app. The best that you can do is give a bad rating. The whole point 9f this app was to have a car pool, not its filled with operators and buggers with very less genuine people driving.
Made my life easier! But still few improvements needed. People are cancelling last minute without any notification. Option should provide, Rider/passenger has to rate if they cancel within some hours before ride starts. People are cancelling even after the time ride starts and neither able see their phone number nor able to give rating for them. It's really affecting the genuine ride ships!
Terrible overall but sadly there is no real alternative. Contact between driver and the passenger is difficult because of automoderator blocking useful links like gmaps link to a precise meet up localization. Support is a useless bot that gives you meaningless answers not related to the question and also app itself is rather buggy. A lot of other annoyances - for example if passenger asks me to cancel his reservation since they won't come app treats that as a driver canceling the whole ride.
I have announced the time driving for three trips in 3 days one destination was from Serbia to Austria and other two Austria to Germany and to Belgium. I was able to find only my trip from Serbia to Austria over the app. But other two I was not able to find over the app, only over the website and it cancel couple of times and try again to announce but it was the same problem. So practically nobody can see mine announcement because 90% people use app for searching. I'm pretty disappointed.
Nice app. Some issues i face are: 1) address' of locations suggested in the boost feature are sometimes inconsistent with the google map location ( often in Belgium and France). 2) pickup and drop off locations of boost feature is not shown along with the route map when a potential passenger is trying to communicate via the messaging option of the app. Other suggestion: Pricing based on class/consumption of car
I've been using this app for car pooling outside the city and overall, it's been a great experience. The platform allows individuals to offer or book rides effortlessly, making it a fantastic way to travel with convenience. The app's strength lies in its ability to connect riders and drivers seamlessly.
Used it in Germany to go between smaller towns where the trains or buses were not convenient. Had a fun chat with a local along the way. The price was much cheaper than trains. 2 hr journey cost around 8 euros. Amazing. Will try again. The part I don't like about the app is that currency and language are combined together. We are in Europe and want to see prices in euro but want English language. Impossible to do in this app and it should be a simple fix.
